Varsity Baseball Hosts MCC
On 4/11/24, the varsity baseball team hosted the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers on Blue Diamond Field. The Pirates fought hard against the Hustlers but ultimately fell 2-22.
Reid Morris recorded 2 hits, 2 RBIs, and a double at the plate. Noah Hernandez got 1 hit for the Pirates, and Jacob Arbelaez and Liam Dyer added 1 run each.
In fielding stats, Morris led the team in putouts with 5 and recorded 1 assist. Trey Dunlap collected the most assists for the Pirates with 2 and contributed 3 putouts. Taylling 1 putout apiece were teammates Patrick Gross, Hernandez, Jaden Jackson, and Zavier Solano. At the mound, Gross struck out 3 players and Dunlap struck out 2.
