Varsity Girls Lacrosse Puts Away the Scorpions

The varsity girls lacrosse team traveled to Satellite Beach on 2/29/24 to go up against Satellite High School. In a competitive matchup, the Pirates finished the 1st quarter 4-3. Going forward, the Scorpions' attempts to close the gap were effectively shut down by a defensive charge led by Madeline Richards. Racking up 2 goals each for the Pirates were CJ Fykes, Kelly Lynch, Lily O'Brien, and Margaret Fykes, and Aerin Russell recorded 1 goal and 1 assist.  Teammates Millicent Critchfield, Mary Kathryn Watson, Nicollete Kennedy, Charlie Cappelen, and Nevin Waddell clinched 1 goal apiece toward the victory. Bebe Busch-Dunford tallied 2 assists, and Richards added 1 assist in the successful night for the Pirates.
