Spotlight On: Digital Literacy Taught by Kelly Fykes

Students in eighth-grade Digital Literacy have been busy these nine weeks. We've discussed spreadsheets and used them to plan a vacation on a budget. We also learned how to use conditional formatting in a spreadsheet to make pixel art and create a Battleship game. The students have created web pages in Adobe about their favorite animals or vacations. This knowledge will come in handy as they prepare to create their visuals for the ME Projects later this spring. The students are anxiously waiting for our Photoshop unit which we will begin in a few weeks.
