Spring Chorale Makes a Joyful Noise

Monica Jennings
Thursday, April 10th marks the Music Department's annual Spring Chorale, and students are focused on the joys of music and springtime.
The singing Pirates will tap into a repetoire of many different kinds of music from favorite movie soundtracks to an opera overture.  The audience will enjoy pop songs from Billy Joel, John Denver and a selection from George Frederick Handel. There will be lullabies, classical songs, and even a knee slapping, toe tapping country number.

There will be eight student soloists, as well as hand drums, guitars, a flute and three a capella selections.  The concert is free, appropriate for all ages and open to the public.  Join Saint Edward's School Pirates, family and friends at 7pm in the Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts.
