Mr. Leonhardt's 7th Grade Merges Science, Technology and Teamwork

Karl Leonhardt's 7th grade science students walked into class on Friday with the ceiling papered with QR codes.  In a timed, teamwork-based exercise, they scanned the codes, found the corresponding website, identified the animal in the room that was on the website, and reported their results.  They also had to identify one "mystery" critter that wasn't in the room. The team with the most accurate responses won in each class, then the competition expanded to the entire 7th grade science students.  In a single class period, the students covered biology, technology, teamwork and critical thinking.  Way to go, young scientists!
