New US Faculty: Meet Amanda Hernandez

Marie Campione (lk)
New Upper School Spanish Teacher Amanda Hernandez comes to our community from St. John’s Country Day School in Orange Park, Florida, where, for the past four years, she was an Upper/Middle School Spanish teacher and Middle School Service Coordinator, developing, organizing, and heading service projects. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and culture from Michigan State University with a minor in Japanese language and culture and ESL and is currently working on her post-baccalaureate degree in communication sciences and disorders at The University of Florida, Gainesville.  NEW FACULTY FUN FACT: Amanda's household is bilingual, with half her family hailing from Mexico State in Mexico, and her "hidden talent" is vocal music. We welcome Amanda to the Upper School!
