SEWANEE, Tenn. 11/25/02 – Sewanee senior Graves Fromang (Vero Beach, Fla./St. Edwards) has been selected to the 2002 first team All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for football.
For the 2002 season, Graves Fromang had 59 total tackles, including a career-best 10 tackles against Centre College. .

SEWANEE, Tenn. 11/14/02 – Sewanee senior football player Graves Fromang (Sr. Linebacker; Vero Beach, Fla./St. Edwards) has been named to the Verizon First Team Academic All-District IV Football Team as selected by COSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).
District IV is comprised of small school’s (NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA) from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan.
Varsity starters and key reserve players must have a minimum 3.200 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.000 scale and must be at least a sophomore. Voting is done by CoSIDA members.
GRAVES FROMANG has a 3.78 GPA and majors in Chemistry. He has 76 career tackles, including 42 solo tackles, three quarterback sacks, one interception, two fumble recoveries and one blocked field goal attempt. He was selected as the SCAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week and to the Football Gazette Defensive Team of the Week in week #5 (Oct.21, 2002), as he had 10 tackles and a blocked field goal attempt in a 23-21 win against Centre College.
Academically, he is a 3x Academic All-SCAC performer, member of the Order of Gownsmen (academic honor society) … Has earned Dean’s List honors (3.625 min. GPA) five straight semesters ... Has also won the Susan Beatty Prize for improvement in General Chemistry and the Robert Hooke Prize for achievement in Calculus.
