Grandparents' Day Dismissal Procedures
Thursday, February 27, 2020 is Grandparents' Day at Saint Edward's School. Middle School students may leave campus with their grandparent(s) to have lunch at 11:30 am and the expectation is that all students will be back in classes by 1:30 pm.
If your child plans to leave with a grandparent, WE MUST HAVE PRIOR APPROVAL FOR YOUR CHILD TO LEAVE CAMPUS.
Parents-please notify Maria Klotter by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020 if your child will leave campus with a grandparent. We must have your permission and the name of the grandparent who is taking your child off-campus.
Unless you are there to personally sign your child out on Thursday (February 27) your child will not be allowed to leave campus if s/he does not have prior permission.
ATHLETES-If a student leaves campus with a grandparent and does not return to school by 1:30 p.m., that student may not participate in athletics that afternoon.
Students must sign out with Mrs. Klotter at 11:30 a.m. on February 27 and sign back in when they return by 1:30 pm. Last year the line to sign-out was very long. Pre-approval and only the student signing himself/herself out will expedite the process.
Please understand that we will continue to have regular classes and if your child leaves campus s/he is responsible for any work that s/he misses.
