Our best advice for parents right now is to have structure/schedules built into their day. Counselors are recommending that students continue to have established bed and wake-up times, regular meals, physical exercise and mental stimulation (ex. reading). In addition to the structure of the day, here are some resources about how to talk with your child (or teen) about the coronavirus. This will change depending on their age.

In terms of counseling during our break, I can be available for a Google Meet video or audio session with students or parents. I also have my cell phone for parent calls. They are welcome to email me for a time.
