The Arts, Student Activities & Sports

Saint Edward’s offers coursework and opportunities for students to participate in all areas of choral and instrumental music, art and art history, technical theatre practice/design and theatre performance. Performances take place in our 800-seat Waxlax Theatre for the Performing Arts. Learn more about the Fine Arts Program at Saint Edward’s School.

In order to make friends and become a part of the school community, we encourage our International Students to get involved. Ping pong, film, indoor soccer, Spanish club, dance club, photography and global awareness club are a few examples of the diverse spectrum of activities the School offers. In fact, students even have the opportunity to create a new club based on their own personal interests.
Students may also participate in academic clubs and competitions such as Mu Alpha Theta (a national high school math honor society), Model United Nations (a student organization that simulates the UN General Assembly), and WorldQuest (a regional and national competition for high school students that promotes global awareness and understanding). Students are also encouraged to participate in a variety of sports. With a no-cut policy, students are able to participate in a sport regardless of their experience or knowledge of a particular sport. Saint Edward’s offers baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball and weightlifting. In addition, to help foster a sense of camaraderie, the International Studies Office coordinates student field trips each semester. Popular field trips among students include shopping in touristy West Palm Beach, and taking an adventurous airboat ride to witness Florida’s wildlife!
