New Upper School Science Teacher Meghan Buckley is no stranger to the Saint Edward’s community as she served as a long-term substitute last year as a science teacher. She and her significant other welcomed their first child, Cody, this summer. Meghan brings with her 10+ years of teaching and leadership experience in the science field, working for Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Academy in Fort Pierce and Indian River State College as an adjunct professor. Also, she has been working for the past year as an independent contractor and teaching English as a second language to Chinese students, ages 5-12, in a virtual classroom setting remotely from home. Meghan received her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Barry University, Miami Shores, and a master’s in marine biology from the Florida Institute of Technology. We are thrilled to have Meghan as a full-time Upper School faculty member.
