The Upper School advocacy program focused on the topic of Digital Leadership this week. Students and faculty discussed how social media use affects people, how our reputation is defined by our digital actions, how to maintain privacy online and how social media can be a positive platform for college admission decisions.
We understand that digital leadership does not happen in a vacuum at school but is ever present in our students’ lives. So, this coming week we will delve into conversations about their digital family brand - what values and choices do your family commit to online? We want to share two helpful resources with you to spark a discussion with your child: (1) Common Sense Media’s family contract template and (2) Google’s Family Link guide for ground rules. Both are useful tools for all Saint Edward’s School students K-12.
