Grace Rodriguez Wows at Weightlifting Competition
From weightlifting coach Les Rogers: 7th grader Grace Rodriguez is on the girls varsity weightlifting team. She has been doing a great job even though she is much younger than all of her competition. We had our last regular season meet yesterday and she placed 2nd at 101(this is her weight class) after having gone 6 of 6 (that means she made all six of the attempts she is allowed by rule) and producing a personal record bench press of 55lbs and a personal record clean & jerk of 60lbs. #PiratePride
