Palmer Vorkapich takes a bite out of the Big Apple

Third grader Palmer Vorkapich enjoyed the trip of a lifetime last week when she traveled to New York with her family to perform in Broadway's Mean Girls as part of the Make a Wish Foundation. Palmer was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, and after a brave battle to beat her diagnosis, she returned to Saint Edward's School for a joyful reunion with her classmates. She not only performed on stage, but cherished family and friends surprised her along the way, she got to dance on the piano at FAO Schwartz and she got to spend some time back stage with Tina Fey.
