"Picture Perfect Walk-Off"

Congratulations, once again, to the varsity baseball team on their picture perfect walk-off ending in victory over Lake Worth Christian from Boynton Beach at home on 4/23/19 by a score of 5-4. The Pirates took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning to topple the Defenders of Lake Worth Christian. The Pirates were down 4-1 when they notched three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie up the game.  The offensive onslaught came from hits by Travis Camp, Michael Mangieri, and Aidan Burdick, a walk from Anand Chundi and sacrifice by Casey Richey. In the bottom of the eighth inning Mangieri singled to right field on the first pitch, scoring Camp for the win.  Richey started on the mound with Camp and Burdick combining for relief out of the bullpen.
