Cross Country Dominates Home Meet
The boys and girl cross country team hosted a meet on 9/17/19 at Saint Edward's School. Despite the heat and some stiff competition, the Pirates competed very well against John Carroll, Sebastian River, Odyssey Charter and Master's Academy in the first of two scheduled home meets.
The boys varsity team came in second place. Leading the charge for the Pirates were Liam Kavolius, Mac Carnell, Drew Sternberg, Aidan Taylor, and Chris Schulze.
The varsity girls team crushed the competition! Elise Mallon won the entire girls race, followed by Sarah Wolf in second. Ellie MacMullan was not far behind, and Savanna Ware had an outstanding run as well.
In the junior varsity boys race, Sam Thomas captured second place with a sub-22 minute run. Leon Main was not far behind in third.
