MS Cross Country Sprints to Victory at Master's Academy Meet
The middle school cross country team competed in a meet at Master's Academy of Vero Beach on 10/1/19.
For the girls race, Sienna Mallon finished 3rd place overall; and Reid Durham completed the boys race in the 5th overall position.
The boys team celebrated a hard-earned 3rd place overall finish. Swift paces set by Reid Durham, Conor Powell, AJ Munz, Thomas Leonard, and Matthew Stern resulted in a tie for third. The tiebreaker was to be determined by whichever team's 6th boy crossed the finish line first; and, thanks to an excellent finish by Max Pohl, the Pirates were able to secure their 3rd place victory.
