Students Create Websites for School in Nepal

Seventh grade English students have recently completed a unit of study around the book Peak. Peak is a 2007 young adult fiction novel by Roland Smith. Portrayed in the novel are the physical and emotional challenges that face a fourteen-year-old as he climbs Mount Everest as well as tall buildings in New York City after moving from Wyoming. Mrs. Durand has been in communication with Maggie Doyne, the founder of Kopila Valley School in Nepal and our students were assigned to create a website based on this school. Their collaboration produced impressive professional-looking and informative sites that can be viewed at the below links.
