Varsity Girls Weightlifting Strong Contenders at Vero Beach Invitational
On 11/23/19, the varsity girls weightlifting team competed at the Vero Beach Invitational weightlifting meet. All three of the Lady Pirates attending at least matched or set new personal records.
Tyler Colgan (8th grade) set personal records in both lifts and total with 55/60/115.
Grace Rodriguez (8th grade) matched personal record performances that she had set at the previous meet with 70/65/135.
Meagan Baker (8th grade) went 6 for 6 and set new personal records with 85/85/170. She improved her total by 40lbs in the last 2 weeks and has not missed a lift, 18 for 18.
