Seventh Grade Boys Basketball Stuns Morningside Academy Twice
The seventh grade boys basketball team recently played back-to-back home games against Morningside Academy.
For their first matchup, the Pirate team took on the Eagles on 11/22/19 in the Upper School gym. The boys jumped out to an early lead and kept it from start to finish, winning 36-16.
Morningside Academy returned on 11/25/19 to the Wachter Activities Center, looking for vengeance. While the Eagles jumped out to an early lead, the Pirates held fast with their patented tough defense. Successful teamwork allowed the Pirates to recapture the lead early in the 2nd half, with Saint Edward's outscoring Morningside 33-23.
