Citizen Science Alert: Help Australia with the Click of a Mouse

Hey Pirates, Dr. Monahan wants you to try your hand at citizen science AND help our friends in Australia. We all saw the headlines this week that as many as 1 billion animals perished in the ongoing fires, and they need us to help identify the species that are in peril. You can devote as much or as little time as you want, and all it takes is a few clicks of your mouse.

This project has citizen scientists (you) look at camera trap images and identify the animals in the photo. It’s pretty straight forward and students can log in by using existing social media accounts or creating a new account, or you can create a single account for everyone in your family.
