Varsity Boys Basketball Moves On to District Finals

The varsity boys basketball team competed in the Class 2A District 12 Semifinal tournament in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center on 2/11/20 against Covenant Christian. In a fiercely competitive matchup, the Pirates outscored the Lions 35-22 in the second half and ultimately defeated their opponents 56-44. The Pirates will now advance to the district finals for the first time in 22 years.

Scoring double digits for the Pirates were Connor Wolfe with 18 points, D'Angelo Lumenes with 14 points, and Ty Redmon with 10 points.
