Friday's Drive-By Farewell

(lk)
Students and faculty will have one final opportunity to see each other and say goodbye. Students should also bring their band instruments, athletic gear, library books, and any books or uniforms they would like to donate to the school. If the Middle School student is the eldest child attending Saint Edward's School they will also receive the yearbook in addition to a certificate and awards, if applicable.

Drive-By Farewell

Students are invited to come to campus and drive through the circle to say goodbye to teachers. All students and parents must stay in their cars to maintain social distancing protocols. All faculty will wear masks, and those handling items will wear gloves. Students should bring any books they would like to donate back to school, athletic uniforms, library books and/or musical instruments. We will have adults to take them from the cars. Advisors, in turn, will give the students their folders with award certificates, and, if the middle school child is the eldest in the family attending Saint Edward's School, we will also distribute the 2020 Yearbook.

Please follow the normal drop-off route through the parking lot. If you have athletic uniforms or athletic equipment to return, you will be diverted through the bus loop and someone will take those things from your car.

When you turn right into the main circle, personnel will take musical instruments and any textbooks that you would like to donate back to the school.

The yearbook station will be directly in front of the library.

Finally, advisors will be in front of the stairs to distribute the end-of-year folders with certificates and any awards.

While it would be fun to chat with each of you at length, unfortunately, we cannot during this Drive-By Farewell. The traffic must flow smoothly and continue to move forward. We appreciate your understanding.

To ease the amount of traffic going through campus, we will stagger the Drive-By Farewell by grade.

6th-grade students should arrive at 1:00 p.m.
7th-grade students should arrive at 1:30 p.m.
8th-grade students should arrive at 2:00 p.m.
