JV Volleyball Seizes Victory from Lady Patriots

The junior varsity volleyball team traveled to Master's Academy of Vero Beach on 9/21/20. Although their opponent was different this time, the outcome remained the same as the Lady Pirates dominated the Lady Patriots in 2 sets: 25-15, 25-9.

Under the leadership of newly appointed team captains Ivy Yang and Amira Hussamy, the Lady Pirates jumped out to an early 8-2 lead and never looked back. Middles Meagan Baker and Caroline Zoltak again set the tone at the net, shutting down the Lady Patriots' offense. Setters Kelly Barnett and Taylor Wolfe directed the offense on the court, with kills being contributed from multiple players in a great display of team effort.

Next game is away on 9/25/20 at Covenant Christian School in Palm Bay, starting at 5:30 PM.
