Athletes for the Month of September
Our Athletes of the Month for September are freshman Alexandra Stern, sophomores Jack Eidemueller and Luna Rivera, and junior Meredith Burgoon. Please click on the headline above to read more about each player.
Freshman Alexandra Stern has been a member of the varsity swim team for four years. Already a senior national qualifier, she has already clocked under her best time for the 500 Freestyle this season. She has won all but one race she has entered thus far, finishing behind only a senior at The Pine School.
This is sophomore Jack Eidemueller's first year as a member of the varsity cross country team. A hard-working athlete, his dedication to the team has paid off in big ways. He has consistently been in the top five of most of his races this season, leading to great results for the boys team.
Sophomore Luna Rivera is also a first year member of Saint Edward's School's varsity cross country team. Emerging as quite the leader on the girls team, she has run well in practice and placed high in several meets. She is a key member of the girls team and is on track to make a run in the state playoffs!
This is junior Meredith Burgoon's third year as a member of the varsity volleyball team. She has been the backbone of the team’s defense, earning 61 digs in the 18 sets she has played in this far. She averages an impressive 3.4 digs a set.
