Varsity Cross Country Celebrates Senior Night
The cross country team celebrated Senior Night on 10/19/20 in Pirate Stadium. Both the boys and girls pulled out team victories for their final meet of the season before Districts.
In an impressive feat, the Lady Pirates were led by Luna Rivera (3rd place), Leah Chin (4th), Savanna Ware (5th), Sienna Mallon (6th), and Dhanika Perez (7th), who all crossed the finish line in relatively close succession.
For the Pirates, a strong performance from senior William Munz allowed him to finish in 3rd place in a competitive field. Sam Thomas followed close behind in 6th place. Also rounding out the top finishers for the Pirates were Luke Damiani (11th), Oscar Lindenthal (13th), and Harrison Hardin (14th).
