Varsity Girl Lifters See Success on Road at Frostproof High School
On 11/18/20, the varsity girls weightlifting team traveled to Frostproof High School for their second meet of the season. The Lady Pirates are proving worthy opponents this season, as several members of the team surpassed their own personal records at this meet.
Jasmine Nunez set a few personal records with her lifts of 80/80*/160*, recording a 4th place finish.
Collecting 2nd place in her division and going 6 for 6, Jessica Jiang recorded lifts of 105*/105*, registering 210* lbs. total and setting personal records.
Not only did Meagan Baker capture 2nd in her division, she went 6 for 6 with 105*/115*/220*, allowing her to set new personal records.
