Important Reminders from Your School Nurses About Returning to School

A special reminder to our families regarding children returning to school after Winter Break: The School does not require you to quarantine if you have been traveling. However, there are some requests our School must ask of all parents.

First, most importantly, is for you to keep your student home if they have any of the following symptoms: Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.

Please keep your student home if they have been tested for COVID-19, and you are awaiting results. Please keep your student home if you are awaiting a COVID-19 test result of a direct family member, or they have had had close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

If you have any questions, please consult with your school nurse: Mrs. Damiani for lower school students and Mrs. Gollery-Kain for middle and upper school students.

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing back on the Pirate Ship Monday, January 4!
