Varsity Girls Basketball Blocks Somerset Prep
On 1/7/21, the varsity girls basketball team competed against Somerset College Prep Academy at home. The Lady Pirates came onto the court strong at the beginning of the game, issuing the first shot of the game and never losing the lead. Thanks to an exemplary team effort, the Lady Pirates crushed the Lady Spartans 37-18.
Leading the scoreboard for the Lady Pirates was Alexa Soderman with 16 points. Teammates Raina Duggal (5 points), Karis Crookshank (4 points) and Imani Williams (4 points) were also instrumental in helping the Lady Pirates defeat their opponent. Also contributing toward their team's success were players Grace Griffeth, Dhanika Perez, Gaby Collazo and Chase Nelson, with all scoring 2 points apiece.
