Varsity Girls Tennis Aces Merritt Island Christian
On 2/18/21, the varsity girls tennis team hosted Merritt Island Christian School at the Riverside Park Tennis Courts. With a fierce determination on the court, the Lady Pirates overcame the Lady Cougars with an impressive 7-0 win in single sets.
Winning singles matches for the girls were Lily Strauss (8-5), Amira Hussamy (8-2), Zayna Shaikh (8-0), Catherine Caldwell (8-0) and Neenah Brown (8-0).
Winning their #1 doubles match for the Lady Pirates was the team of Strauss/Hussamy (8-6). Shaikh/Caldwell clinched the #2 doubles match 8-0.
