MS Girls Lacrosse Faces Indian River Middle Schools for 11v11 Game
On 2/25/21, the middle school girls lacrosse team headed to South County Park in Vero Beach to play Indian River Middle Schools in a 11v11 game. Despite a good effort on the field, the Lady Pirates lost 5-10.
Scoring goals for the Lady Pirate team were Caroline Langsam (2), Aerin Russell (2), and CJ Fykes (1). Thanks to an effective defensive effort led by Leah Chin, Nico Kennedy, and Maddy Padgett, the Lady Pirates were able to keep the opponent's goals to free position shots and assisted goals. Seventh-grader Olivia Stovall's outstanding efforts in goal helped keep the other team at bay.
