From the School Counselor ~ Parental Controls

Parental controls are the names for a group of settings that put you in control of what content your child/teen can see. Combined with privacy settings these can help you protect your children from the things they shouldn’t see or experience online. The site called Internet Matters has put together simple step-by-step guides for everything and anything your student could be using and are broken up into the following categories: Smartphones, Entertainment & Search Engines, Broadband & Mobile Networks, Social Media, and Gaming Consoles (see an example video here). Please contact Ms. Mahovetz at mmahovetz@steds.org or (772) 492-2215 with any questions.
