Varsity Girls Tennis Dominates Courts in Sebastian River Match-up
On 3/18/21, the varsity girls tennis team headed to Sebastian River High School in Sebastian to face the Lady Sharks. The Lady Pirates ultimately defeated their opponents on the court 5-2.
Winning singles matches for the girls were Zayna Shaikh (8-4), Catherine Caldwell (8-1), and Neenah Brown (8-0).
Winning exhibition singles matches for the Lady Pirates were Caroline Zoltak (8-1) and Dhanika Perez (8-0).
In a competitive match-up, the team of Lily Strauss and Amira Hussamy won their #1 doubles match 9-7. Clinching the Lady Pirate victory in their #2 doubles match was Shaikh/Caldwell (8-5).
