Varsity Boys Tennis Conquers Knights
The varsity boys tennis team headed to Stuart on 3/29/21 to play The Pine School at Miles Grant Country Club. Showing their prowess on the court, the Pirate team upset the Knights 6-1. The Pirates are now 8-2 for the season.
Winning singles matches for the boys were Taran Taylor (7-5, 7-5), Jacob Chesley (7-5, 6-3), Jack Zoltak (6-2, 6-2) and Sebastian Fernandez (3-6, 6-2, 11-9).
Winning the exhibition singles match for the Pirates was Cole Hackenburg (6-3, 6-3).
Winning their #1 doubles match for the Pirates was the team of Taylor/Zoltak (6-2, 6-3). Helping ensure the Pirate victory was Jake Damiani/Chesley with their #2 doubles match win (6-2, 6-4).
