Community Service Club MS/US Book Drive April 12-23

From the Community Service Club: We are holding an MS/US book drive April 12-23 for the Vero Beach Boys and Girls Club. We are asking students and staff to donate school-appropriate books of all genres, from nonfiction to fantasy! We are planning to deliver boxes to each of the homerooms; students will drop off their books to be donated in the boxes in their respective homerooms, and on Friday 4/23, the Community Service Club will collect these boxes and deliver the books to the Boys and Girls Club. To incentivize donation, we are hosting a competition between homerooms to see who can donate the most books. The homeroom that wins will receive a treat (ex: donuts for breakfast one morning), courtesy of freshman Grace Haller, who suggested this idea. We are so excited to include the Middle School, as it is a great introduction for our eighth graders to the Community Service Club in high school!
