SES Team Holds Their Own at Regional Ocean Sciences Bowl Competition

The 2021 Saint Edward's Ocean Bowl team placed 3rd in the Regional Ocean Sciences Bowl Competition hosted virtually by Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution. This is only the second year that SES has competed in the competition, and the team did a phenomenal job of preparing and outstanding work during the competition. They competed against 10 other teams from 7 other schools in our regional division, which covers the east coast of Florida from Brevard County south to Monroe County. The team earned 220 points in the first round consisting of 80 questions and two team challenge questions, 56 points in the first elimination round consisting of 20 questions and two team challenge questions and 48 points in the Final Four round also consisting of 20 questions and two team challenge questions.
