Kindergarten Praying Mantis Release

Kindergarten has been enjoying studying many kinds of six-legged creatures. This week students were able to observe hundreds of praying mantis babies emerge from their egg cases! The students then released them in one of our campus green spaces. Many students used twigs or their fingers to get an up-close and personal look at these stealthy predators!
