7-8 Grade Studio Explores Strange Still Life

Seventh and eighth-grade Studio classes are exploring techniques, quirks, and themes in Art History this year. To begin this process, we talked about creating Still Life as a practice and discussed famous examples of Still Life painting. Students practiced drawing Still Life in class before setting up their own at home. They took photos of typical Still Life with their own personal twist by adding a quirky or unexpected element.
