JV Boys Basketball Takes Down Sharks
The junior varsity boys basketball team took on Sebastian River High School on 1/19/22 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. In the last 48 seconds of the thrilling match-up, Sean Stalheber came down the court and sank the game winning basket for the Pirates with 5 seconds left to spare.
Nate Sparkman led the Pirate scorers with 15 points, and teammate Luke Damiani followed closely 12 points. Helping the Pirates secure the victory were Stalheber with 9 points and Cameron Barnes with 8. Ray Taft also gave the Pirate team a big boost with 8 points off the bench.
