MS Girls Basketball's Blue Team Soars Over Lady Eagles
On 1/5/23, the blue team for middle school girls basketball hosted Morningside Academy. Utilizing a balanced attack, the Lady Pirates secured the win over the Lady Eagles 34-21. The Lady Pirates now 6-0 for the season.
Eight different players scoring baskets marked an all-season high of scoring contributors for the Lady Pirate team. Showing great teamwork, Amajyn Cannon brought a strong game but also often found the open player. Teammates Mackenzie Mostoller and Halle Grella combined for 10 points. Bebe Busch-Dunford, Nicollette Kennedy, Leah Chin, and Piper McCollom all added buckets in the win.
