JV Boys Basketball Extinguishes HEAT
The junior varsity boys basketball team hit the road for the Tony Rosa Community Center in Palm Bay on 1/12/23 to take on the Brevard HEAT. The Pirates quickly doused the HEAT on the floor by halftime with their 48-10 lead and went on to defeat their opponents 75-22.
Leading the scoreboard for the Pirates was Cody Simmonds with 24 points, followed closely by Seorim McLendon with 18. Carson Yates nabbed 14 points for the Pirate team, and teammate Rushil Sura added 11. Also putting up points for the Pirate victory were Cole Register with 3 and Jack Johnson with 2.
