JV Boys Basketball Dominates Court Against Brevard HEAT
On 1/5/23, the junior varsity basketball team hosted the Brevard HEAT in the Wachter Activities Center. The Pirate team took an early lead, with the defense shutting down the HEAT early on the court. Never losing their generous lead, the Pirates beat the HEAT 33-73.
Cody Simmonds led the Pirate team on the court with 22 points, followed closely by Cole Register with 14 points and Carson Yates with 12. Wyatt Burdick and Kaleb Jones each tallied 7 points in the competition, and Seorim McLendon brought in 6 points for the Pirates. Also contributing to the Pirates' domination were Rushil Sura with 3 points and Jack Johnson with 2 points.
