Varsity Boys Basketball Advances to District Finals
On 2/7/23, the varsity boys basketball team took on Pineapple Cove Classical Academy for the Class 2A District 13 Semifinals in the Gonzalez Lobo-Activities Center. The Pirates halted the Patriots on the court to win 63-49 and advance to host the 2A District 13 Finals on 2/10/23.
Gary Anderson led the Pirates on the court with 19 points and 8 blocks. Following closely was Nate Sparkman with 16 points. Dylan Redmon also put up double digits on the scoreboard for the Pirates with 12 points. Both Redmon and Ford Norris contributed 5 assists apiece. Eli Barin, who also netted 5 points, tallied the most rebounds for the team with 12 and the most steals with 6.
