First-Grade Self-Portraits

After learning about the Renaissance, portraiture and Leonardo's Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the first graders created a mixed-media self-portrait.  The students used mirrors for observation, focusing on symmetry, proportion and values for their depiction of themselves.
