Football, Soccer and Baseball

Mike excelled on the varsity football team, the varsity soccer team and the varsity baseball team. In football he received the Most Improved Player Award in grade 11 and the following year was honored with the Athlete of Distinction Award. Mike went on to obtain a B.S. in Mathematics from Davidson College where he played Division I Soccer for 2 years. After a knee injury, he coached junior varsity soccer at Davidson for his remaining 2 years and then returned to Saint Edward's to teach Algebra and coach Soccer and Football. He took the 1989 varsity soccer team to the State Semifinals that year and had the pleasure of having his younger brother, Darin '89, as a senior on the team. Currently the Director of Information Technology for Harris Cotherman Jones Price and Associates, and a parent of a 2007 graduate, Austin, Mike lives in Vero with his wife of twenty years, Deb. For the past twenty years he has run an open gym for volleyball at Saint Edward's. All of the funds collected from the open gym are donated to a scholarship for the children of alumni at Saint Edward's School.
