Choral Music

We believe that every student should have access to a balanced, comprehensive and sequential program of study in music throughout their career at Saint Edward's School. In the early years the program introduces all aspects of music from singing to performing, composing and arranging, to reading, listening, evaluating and understanding relationships between music and other disciplines.

As students progress they are given the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of group situations including the Sixth Grade Chorus, the Middle School Concert Choir and Vocal Ensemble, the Upper School Men’s Ensemble, the Upper School Women’s Ensemble, the Upper School Chamber Choir and the Upper School Concert Choir.

In the Middle and Upper School students are exposed to basic music theory concepts, which are enhanced by travel to competions and audition opportunities. At the most advanced levels our Upper School students to enjoy AP Music Theory, Recording and Technology, and greater in-depth study for those Vero Beach Upper School students with an affinity for music.
