How to Apply

We appreciate your interest in Saint Edward’s School and look forward to working with you this admission season. Completed applications submitted after February 15 will be reviewed individually within our rolling admission process if space is available. 
We encourage all applicants to apply online with our secure and user-friendly electronic application form. The online application reduces paper and allows us to process your application more quickly.

Your online admission account will enable you to start a new application, save your progress and return to the form as necessary until you are ready to submit. After submission you will be able track the status of your application and update forms as necessary.

For new families: You will need to create a username and password. To start a new application, begin online registration.

For current Saint Edward’s Families and Faculty and Staff: You will use your existing mySTEDS Username and Password to sign-in. This will allow the system to populate much of the required content. To start a new application, click here for online registration.

Application Checklist

Thank you for your interest in Saint Edward’s School. Provided below is a checklist of the items needed for your student’s application to be considered for admission. 

Please upload information as it becomes available. Completed applications received by February 15 will be considered by the Admission Committee during the first round of selection. All applications completed after this deadline will be considered as part of our rolling admission process if space is available.

Checklist for Completed Application Files

  • Campus school introduction and tour for parents
  • Online application with photograph (optional, but appreciated)
  • Current report card/transcripts 
  • Recommendation forms dated after November 1 (located in your online account checklist)
  • A copy of Birth Certificate 
  • Student classroom visit (Pre-K - Grade 5) or Student shadow visit (Middle and Upper School) Scheduled by Admission Office
  • Admission screening (Pre-K - Grade 5) or SSAT* (Secondary School Admission Test) (Middle and Upper School)  Receive scheduling and registration information from Admission office.   
  • Character Skills Snapshot (Middle & Upper School) -Recieve information from Admission Office
* NOTE:  Applicants for grades 10, 11 and 12 may substitute the PSAT, ACT or SAT if taken within the past year.
