Service and Clubs
Serving Our Community
At Saint Edward’s School, service is built into the student experience, helping students develop responsibility, empathy and leadership through meaningful action. In the Upper School, service to both the school and broader community is a graduation requirement.
By graduation, each class contributes more than 7,000 hours of community service.
This commitment extends across the entire community. Faculty and the Parents Association actively serve through local outreach, including annual traditions such as Soup Bowl Day, which benefits the Samaritan Center.
Students also lead their own initiatives through the Community Service Club, organizing food drives, Angel Tree gifts, blood drives and more. Over time, they are recognized for the impact they make through organizations such as Guardian ad Litem, Habitat for Humanity and Hibiscus House.
Clubs
Clubs and enrichment at Saint Edward’s School give your child space to discover what they enjoy, deepen their interests and build confidence outside of academic, fine arts and athletic offerings.
In Lower School, enrichment takes place after school. In Middle School, clubs meet during the school day, and in Upper School, they can take place before, during or after school. Faculty and staff serve as advisers. If students don't see something that fits their interests, they can form a new club with faculty approval.
