Congratulations to junior Edwin Provancher for being selected as one of this week's Saint Edward's School Athletes of the Week!
Provancher, goalkeepr for the varsity boys lacrosse team, proved electric at the net on 3/26/25 in the home matchup against Vero Beach High School. He was a vital part of the Pirates' 11-6 victory, making 18 saves on 24 shots on goal. This is Provancher's third year as a member of the varsity boys lacrosse team.
Congratulations to senior Aerin Russellfor being selected as one of this week's Saint Edward's School Athletes of the Week!
Varsity girls lacrosse athlete Russell led the charge for the Pirates at home on 3/25/25 in their 14-10 defeat of Jupiter High School. Russell netted 3 goals in the victory. This is Russell's fifth year as a member of the varsity girls lacrosse team.
On March 27-28, varsity girls track and field athlete Jacquelyn Perrin traveled to the Mike Long Track at Florida State University in Tallahassee to take part in the FSU High School Relays. This track event is an exclusive "qualifier-only" event, requiring athletes to meet rigorous entry standards just to step onto the track.
Perrin began the competition on Friday with the 800m run. Competing against a deep field of the state’s fastest mid-distance runners, Perrin posted a blistering 2:17.17 to finish in 20th place. The performance earned her a new personal record and lowered her own previously held school record for the event. On Saturday, Perrin returned to the track to compete in the 1600m. She crossed the line in 5:09.26 to finish 24th, officially taking down the school record held by former Pirate Grace Thomas since 2009.
Perrin's new times on the track have vaulted her into the #4 position for girls in the state of Florida for Class 1A. "To see a record like Grace Thomas's finally surpassed after 15 years is a testament to the level Jacquelyn is reaching," said the Saint Edward's coaching staff. "Coming home from Tallahassee with two records and a top-4 state ranking is a massive statement as we head into the postseason."

We build rapport with our student-athletes creating an atmosphere for success, and teaching the proper values, skills and strategies. A love of activity starts with the Physical Education program, which begins in our Little Pirates (PreK-3) programs. Students then progress to middle school team sports and eventually varsity-level competition in the Upper School. Saint Edward’s School fields 42 teams in 22 sports and enjoys an enviable record of success. Athletes with a range of abilities at all levels find opportunities to advance their skills and compete to their full potential.
