Marble Run, Anyone?
First-grade students learned about the force of gravity by designing a marble run. Working with partners, they used cardboard, tools, tape, and a lot of ingenuity to design their marble runs. Students constructed a “slant” to demonstrate the law of gravity in action, without any push or pull mechanisms to get the marble moving.
